The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to map your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is built into the base of charging. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and recommend automatic schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up it can begin cleaning automatically with just one button click. You can choose a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of higher-end models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. But that's not a problem if you want to own one of the top robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move on when it encounters one.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the bin hidden from view, as well as cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something is in need of attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can need. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're at home. It also comes with more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a set route.

The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it enhances suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Created to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the house.  shark i robot vacuum  are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons open the settings of the app where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our hardwood floor test and taking out all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
